ABOUT ME
It's my husband, John's, fault. He came up to me one day and said, "I have an invention. Do you want to market it?" And me, being the good wife that I am, said, "Sure. Why not." We launched JS Products, Pocket-Lok® in 1990, an original equipment manufacturing company. Since then, I’ve built, worked, and operated businesses giving me hands-on experience across many facets of entrepreneurship. My path took an exciting turn when I was invited to co-author my first two books, Incredible Business and Mom Entrepreneur Extraordinaire. That opportunity lit a spark in me and led to what has now become a passion—bringing words and books to life. When it came time to publish 45 Years of True Railroad StoriesTM, I found myself at a crossroads. Traditional publishing meant a long, uncertain wait for an agent and publisher—potentially up to four years. On the other hand, the $10,000 quote from a self-publishing company was out of reach. So, I took matters into my own hands. I independently published John's 283-page memoir, complete with photographs and cover design. Not only did this save us thousands of dollars, but it also gave me full creative control and ownership of our work. That experience empowered me to continue independent publishing—not just for myself, but also to help others bring their own stories to life. My Published Works Include:
